The Gradu8tes are an ensemble of eight B.A. Acting majors from the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts Class of 2021.

Our diverse group comes from all over the world - from Peru to New York-- a multitude of backgrounds in ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, and more.

Starting as a vague idea tossed around in sophomore year theatre classes, the eight of us finally came together in July of 2020.

What came to be known as The Gradu8tes Project progressed in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. We met weekly on Zoom, raised over $12,000 for the production, hired an insanely talented crew, and worked through over 30 drafts of a script.

We wanted to create a thesis piece that expressed our fears and excitement about moving on from college and entering the unknown - and that's how The Gradu8tes Project became the film, FINAL CALL

So, please, enjoy our senior "not-really-a-showcase" showcase.

Oh and...all eight of us are actively seeking representation;)

FINAL CALL, directed by Autumn Reeser, is a story about a group of students stranded the night before graduation and confronting the shifting sands of time. It’s a film about one phase ending, the uncertainty of life stretching before you, and the friendships you make along the way.
